HIV entry inhibitors


  • Maraviroc: binds to CCR5 and prevents interaction with  gp120. (CCR5 antagonist)
  • Enfuvirtide: binds to gp41 and interferes with the fusion. (Fusion inhibitor)
  • Ibalizumab: binds domain 2 of CD4 cells ana prevents attachment of HIV virions
